Chris did something change since 2.40.4 that would mess up the shadows again? I verified my images are still in the file mentioned in the post from April 2013 above. I noticed though that the shadows were not there prior to upgrading to 2.41.0. Any thoughts? I’m running WP 3.8.1

Thanks Chris. Instead I used a similar link in the first info bubble which allowed the user to click and open the next poi bubble.

Is it possible to create a mashup using mapid’s, if so, I could create two maps per sub page, one that is displayed and one that is used for the mashup only. The polygon map would be used on the individual page and the non polygon (poi map pin only) would be used for the mashup. That way the poi list under the mashup would not be cluttered with both poly and pin poi’s. If it is possible what is the short code structure to accomplish this.

Chris, have you had time yet to try your ideas with regard to controlling the polygon POI behavior (clickable or non-clickable) and the ability to filter it from the POI list.

I removed the ‘return false’ and it worked. Will experiment with the jQuery too. Problem with using your POI whether I customize it or not is the fact that both the POI map pins and POI polygon show up in the list, only need one type to show up. Thanks Chris for the quick response.

Since I’m using a table under the map anyway (more detailed than what the POI list can give me) I found that if I use the following type of format for the text link in the each row of the first column I can get the corresponding POI to open, problem, how to incorporate an anchor tag. I tried rapping the tag, tried replacing the # with the #nameofanchor, etc but only can get map infowindow to open, can’t get anchor to jump back up to map. <a href=”#” onclick=”mapp0.getPoi(10).open(); return false;”>Show me Gibraltar Heights on map</a>

I tried replacing the # with #gibraltarmap above and added the <a name=”gibraltarmap”></a> just before the map div on the page.  If I can get this to work I can have each link in my table correspond to the map poi and when user clicks it will take them back to map where infowindow is open. Thanks in advance for help.

Okay got center to work with a lat/long but didn’t realize you had to have a zoom specified in the short code so that’s resolved now.

Okay found the documentation, some reason missed the shortcode parameters section. Was able to get reset to display and work on the mashup map.

Found under Basic Parameters “center”, so are you saying that “for mashups and maps with no saved center, the map is automatically centered and zoom to show all of its POI’s”, does that mean adding center=”lat/lng” in short code won’t override the auto center? Tried it by inserting the lat/lng values but it didn’t override.

This also effects the list of poi’s under a mashup as it lists pins and polygons. Will gladly provide a url privately if it will help you visualize the issue. Thanks.

I had tried the last example above but missed two “_” had only used one. So yes it works now. Thank you.

Gingerbread 2.3.6, I changed to infobox instead of infowindow and it worked on my Android. Unfortunately if a park or other landmark has a link it pops up as a google infowindow and won’t close. Only the map pins that I created open and close using the infobox. Frustrating. Have no problem giving you a url privately as I am still developing the site.

Or do I just have to duplicate the same info in the polygon POI as I have in the map pin POI so that the viewer always sees the same content regardless of whether they click in the polygon area or the map pin.
