I am trying to use a map pin POI in the middle of a polygon POI. I don’t want the poly POI clickable its merely provided as a visual so the page visitor can get a perspective of the geographical area related to the map pin POI. I only want the map pin POI clickable with the info. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Or do I just have to duplicate the same info in the polygon POI as I have in the map pin POI so that the viewer always sees the same content regardless of whether they click in the polygon area or the map pin.
This also effects the list of poi’s under a mashup as it lists pins and polygons. Will gladly provide a url privately if it will help you visualize the issue. Thanks.
Chris, have you had time yet to try your ideas with regard to controlling the polygon POI behavior (clickable or non-clickable) and the ability to filter it from the POI list.
Is it possible to create a mashup using mapid’s, if so, I could create two maps per sub page, one that is displayed and one that is used for the mashup only. The polygon map would be used on the individual page and the non polygon (poi map pin only) would be used for the mashup. That way the poi list under the mashup would not be cluttered with both poly and pin poi’s. If it is possible what is the short code structure to accomplish this.
