Hi,
I’m sorry, but the list is always synchronized to what’s visible on the map (similar to Google Maps, etc.)
The only option to get everything in the list would be to zoom the map out far enough to see all the markers.
Hi,
I’m not sure I understand. The list shows whatever is shown in the mashup, and that can’t be modified.
To show all posts in the mashup, use this:
[mashup query="all"]Or just:
[mashup]Hi,
The template variables are actually output from JavaScript. So it’s not possible to use things like {{poi.title}} in PHP functions.
However, it is possible to trim spaces from the title using the JavaScript trim() function, like this:
<div class='mapp-title'><# print(poi.title.trim()); #></div>There is some more information in the MapPress documentation, or this page explains more about JavaScript templates in general:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Javascript_Reference/wp.templateHi,
I’m sorry, but that’s not possible. The mashup has links to the individual post, but not the other way around. You could link back to the mashup page (you can put a link it the POI title or body) but it won’t open a specific marker when displayed.
Hi,
The current versions of the plugin will whitelist itself in autoptimize, you don’t need to do anythig.
Hi,
Try the following:
1. Update MapPress to the latest version, and check the map (the newest versions whitelist MapPress in autoptimize)2. If #1 doesn’t help, disable ALL plugins (except MapPress) and switch to the standard Twenty Twenty theme – just for a moment – and check the map again. If it works, you can reactivate one by one to find the problem.
If the map still doesn’t work, please send me a login. You can use the contact form to email me directly.
Hi,
There are a lot of JavaScript errors on the second site. If you’d like to look, you can see the console in most browsers with F12. It looks like something is interfering with the WordPress underscore and jQuery libraries.
I’ve had trouble before with the autoptimize plugin, which can cause JS errors. Could you try disabling it and see if the maps load?
Hi,
I’m not clear on whether you do or do not want the shortcodes, but if you don’t want them, you can call strip_shortcodes() on the text. If you do want them executed, use do_shortcode() on it.
I hope that’s enough info… Also, please be aware that not all shortcodes will work in a popup. For example, some need to load their own JavaScripts, and they won’t realized it’s necessary if the shortcode is embedded in a popup.
Hi,
Thanks for reporting this.
I think it’s actually related to the jQuery library update bundled with WP 5.6. The new version deprecated some string functions which were used when determining the map center. I put in a workaround for the missing functions, which works for strings – but it failed in the case where the center is saved as a lat, lng.
I’ve just published 2.58.1, which should fix this error. Please let me know how it works for you!
Hi,
Per our email exchange – it seems the problem was another plugin loading an outdated version of jQuery UI. I’ll mark this as resolved, but please let me know if there are any other issues.
Hi,
As far as I know there aren’t any compatibility issues with 5.6, so it may be something else.
What version of MapPress are you using? Please be sure it’s the latest version.
Conflicts with other plugins are a major cause of errors. To check: please deactivate ALL other plugins and switch to the twenty twenty theme, for a moment. Did the maps work? If so, reactivate one by one to find the conflict.
If not, please use the contact form to send a login so I can see the problem in the admin.
I’m glad you figured it out, and thanks for letting me know! Caching and minifying plugins are the most common causes for this kind of problem.
Hi,
It looks like something is preventing the plugin scripts from loading. Could you please try switching to a standard theme and deactivating all other plugins for a moment?
I think you’ll see the map once you do that. You can reactivate one by one to find the culprit. A common problem is theme pages that don’t call wp_footer(), which is needed for script loading.
https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/hooks/wp_footer/There are some other errors in the JavaScript console, but I don’t think they’re related.
Hi,
Your support subscription has probably expired, but you can renew it here whenever you like:
http://mappresspro.com/accountHi,
I’ll look into a solution for this – perhaps a list of attached maps to the Gutenberg sidebar for the post would work, since it would show the attached maps without having to insert a block?
Until then, you can downgrade to an earlier version (with the metabox) by downloading it from your account.
