Hi,
Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate that.
I don’t think I can be much help in this case, though. The mashup queries are run using the WordPress ‘wp_query’ object (https://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Query).
Other than ‘sticky posts’, I don’t wp_query really has any syntax for showing a category + specific post(s), and it’s not something I’ve built into the plugin.
Maybe a workaround would be to show two maps – a map of the current location and another mashup with the other category?
There are no custom fields if you’re using the map editor, the data is saved as a single serialized object.
However, if you’re using the Pro version you can generate maps from custom fields. You can check the settings screen for the field assignments (you can use any fields you like) and the documentation has some pointers on setting it up.
Hi,
You can print an invoice directly from your account:
http://mappresspro.com/accountI think you emailed about this several days ago, but when I replied the mail was bounced back:
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain 3bmarkets.gr by mail.3bmarkets.gr. [148.251.86.239].The error that the other server returned was:
550 5.1.1: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in virtual mailbox table Hi,
Yes, that should work. The documentation should explain how to add a KML POI (or POIs) to your map:
Hi,
It looks like WordPress made a change in version 3.9 that causes the tinyMCE editor to strip out all javascript ‘on’ events. They seem to have debated fixing it and decided not to:
https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/27858
If this is a one-time thing, I can only suggest a (not very good) workaround: since the editor only strips out javascript when you switch to ‘visual’ mode, you can switch the editor to ‘html’ mode, type in the javascript, and save the map. The javascript should stay in place, or at least that worked for me. But… the caveat is that every time you edit the POI after that, the editor will start up in ‘visual’ mode and try to delete the javascript again.
Hi,
Unfortunately, although Google has all the boundaries – states, counties, towns, etc. – they don’t expose that data through the maps API. The only thing I can suggest is to maybe add a KML file to your map with the boundaries (you can import existing files or create them on Google Earth).
Hi,
Usually the easiest way is to just use a particular post/page for the front page:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_PageOn that page, use a mashup shortcode, for example:
[mashup query="all" width="100%" height="500px"]If you want to actually modify the theme files, you can use the same shortcode but call it from PHP with the
do_shortcodefunction. There are some examples in the documentation that show how to do that.Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me. That’s a bug: there’s a typo in the POI output program. I’ve got a fix in version 2.43.7 – I’ve just released it and you can download it from your account.
Hi, what version of the plugin are you using? Do you have an example URL?
September 8, 2015 at 12:14 pm in reply to: Mappress works on every product but not all products on one screen #16212I think the query issue is resolved. For anyone else with this problem: it turned out to be a bug introduced in 2.43.2. The bug prevented mashups with query=”all” or query=”current” from returning any results. The bug is fixed in 2.43.6.
I think this is now resolved. For anyone else with this problem: it’s fixed in version 2.43.6.

You issue is really specific to your site and your other plugins/theme. I may be able to help but I’d need:
– an admin login – preferably to a TEST site
– URL (or post name) for a product
– URL (or post name) for a mashup
– instructions to reproduce the problemIf you’d like to send the info above, you can use the contact form.
Hi,
Thanks for reporting this. It’s definitely a bug and I’ll get a fix to you by the end of the day.
I’ll send an updated version to the email address on your profile. Please let me know if you prefer a different address.
Hi Connie,
MapPress already supports styled maps. I’m not sure if it’s what you are looking for, but you can just paste the json from snazzymaps (or the Google Styled Maps Wizard) into the plugin settings screen. You can define unlimited styles that can be selected for individual maps, or define a single style to apply to all maps by default.
You can easily show the most recent 10 posts:
[mashup query="post_type=any&posts_per_page=10"]Unfortunately, if you instead want to use a specific time (like past 30 days), WordPress really doesn’t offer a way to do this in a query string – you would need to use a PHP template tag instead. If you want to take that route please see the documentation for some examples and the WordPress Codex for info about the date parameters:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Query#Date_Parameters
