I went back to an older version of metabox and it’s working fine.

I’ll let the plugin developer know.

I’ve narrowed down the issue to a conflict with the “metabox” plugin. I’m not actually using it as a plugin but have it included as part of my theme.

I also used the metabox plugin on the other site where things were working fine. The metabox plugin is probably an earlier version there.

Any idea why there could be a conflict with a plugin like metabox?

It’s a field with an editor – visual and text views. I’m using a custom meta box plugins to assist with building the functions for the custom fields.

Your plugin is working great! Now I just have to go through and change all the addresses. : (

Hi Chris,

Changed my field from wysiwyg to text and split it in two – street address and city, state, zip. Works great now!

Hi Chris,

I’m working on a site for a public school system. I have my custom post type of “school” enabled for maps and a wysiwyg field for the complete address.

The automatic map works on some but not all of the schools. (about 20 out of 82)

I have examined the address field for spurious characters.  I’ve tried eliminating all other plugins.  I’ve tried creating new posts and also updating existing posts.  I can’t switch themes because that is where the custom post type with the custom fields is created.

Do you think the wysiwyg field might be the issue?
