      Ok, it seems that the ajax method for the site was not playing ball with the wp_footer(), which in turn (quite rightly) killed the plug in.

      Time for a refactor!

        It seems my issue is related to the wp_footer() not being called correctly for the ajax page.

        Hmmmmm….
