    Hi, after receiving the notice to upgrade in my plugins directory, I downloaded the latest version and unzipped it. I’m hesitating to upload the directory to my WordPress installation because this will overwrite the current one. Will I lose the markers, etc. on the current map?

    Hi, the maps are stored in the database so you won’t lose them.  You can do a database backup first to be sure – it never hurts.

    Please be sure you’re installing the Pro version from your account, not the free version:

    Thanks so much… the database – duh!! A few mis-firing synapses in the old grey-matter here I think 😀

    If you have custom icons, back up your wp-content/uploads/mappress/icons folder. My upgrade overwrote the folder.
