I’m currently using the pro version.

    1. I am wondering if there is an option to show the infowindow text in the POI listing. This would give the reader a way to view the window text and then look up locations rather than just clicking the markers.

    2. Is there a way to add a field to index each marker? When updating maps, this is helpful in controlling how the markers are listed. On maps where some chronological order is used (i.e. historical dates), this would be useful.

Thanks. I’ve figured out workaround for #2 (using 01,02,03 … to prefix each marker) – but it’s not so elegant.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with the product. Just asking these questions before I go and make some major mods to the maps in my website.

Hi, sorry for my slow reply, I’m on vacation but I’ll be back at work again next week.

    To answer your questions:

    1) If you install the latest beta (see http://mappresspro.com/betas ) you can use a POI list ‘template’ to display whatever you like.  I haven’t completed the beta documentation yet so there’s only an overview in the release notes.  If you need help with the template before it’s available let me know.

    2) The beta also applies a default sort by title, and has a filter you can use to apply your own sorting.  You can also drag & drop markers on individual maps.   Also, if you use a mashup, you can apply a sort order using the mashup query – WordPress offers sort by post date and some other fields.
