    My clients complain that the automatic icons are not shown anymore in Mashups.
    They swore that they did not edit the MappressPro settings at all.

    As there was so  much turmoil with all the updates in the last time I forgot to dive into that problem until my clients claimed too much … but I cannot tell you since when the defined values were lost

    Now I see that in the last backups from this year that the mappress-options did not contain the custom-field-related-icons

    a:3:{i:0;a:3:{s:3:"key";s:17:"bearbeitungsstand";s:5:"value";s:9:"beantragt";s:6:"iconid";s:27:"traffic-lights-red-icon.png";}i:1;a:3:{s:3:"key";s:17:"bearbeitungsstand";s:5:"value";s:8:"begonnen";s:6:"iconid";s:30:"traffic-lights-yellow-icon.png";}i:2;a:3:{s:3:"key";s:17:"bearbeitungsstand";s:5:"value";s:14:"fertiggestellt";s:6:"iconid";s:29:"traffic-lights-green-icon.png";}}s:11:"defaultIcon";s:23:"traffic-lights-icon.png";

    only the default-icon was defined

    I entered these relations ago and now I see them in database

    I will check whether the next update of MappressPro will keep these values or not

    please have an eye on this problem!

    Cheers, Connie

    Hi,

    There was an update (version 2.45) a long time ago that changed the structure of the automatic icons settings and required re-entering them.  Perhaps that’s what you’re seeing.

    From the 2.45 changelog:

    * Changed: autoicons function simplified: only 1 rule type is allowed, unfortunately you must *re-enter* any existing autoicons settings.

    Thank you Chris,

    this could be one of the reasons. I re-entered the values and everything is ok

    I will keep an eye on it if it happens again

    another reason could be that whenever MapPressPro got an available update, this Update is notified in the plugin administration and maybe my clients clicked “update” there and by this overwrote the PRO – is this a possible reason?

    Cheers, Connie

    Yes, that could happen – if they deactivate the plugin manually first, and then try to update it, they’ll get the free version.  If you use automatic update, it shouldn’t happen.
