Prevent shapes being listed in POI list

Scenario:

– I am creating a list of POIs that describe an alternative route to going somewhere by motorway.
– I want to show the motorway using shapes to create a line on the map
– I don’t want the shapes that comprise the motorway to appear in the POI list

Is this possible?

Hi,

I’m afraid not, I guess usually folks want to name the outlined area, so I never implemented that feature.  However:

• It’s usually a lot easier to draw shapes using KML (for example with Google Earth, or lots of other sites).  They have better drawing tools, and you can snap to roads, etc.
• As a bonus, if you use KML, MapPress does have an option to hide KMLs in the POI list.

I hope that helps.  If not, let me know and I’ll look into an option to hide shapes, but it maybe be a few weeks before the next release.
