    Hi,

Not sure if this is related to a problem with CSS on my site or if it’s a general issue – hoping someone can offer some help. I have a map (100% x 400px) with around 6 POI that have been manually added. Each has a short description of around 50 words.

Unfortunately, when you click on the map marker, the bubble that appears with this info is somewhat crushed in, running almost the entire width of the map. This always looks a bit odd as, at this width, the text only runs to a couple of lines.

You can see what I mean here:
    Map example

I’ve tried enabling / disabling both Fix InfoWindow Scrollbars and the MapPress.css but neither seem to make any difference.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,
    Andy

    Hi,

It’s probably something to do with your theme CSS. Have you tried switching to a standard theme for a moment to check?

If that’s the issue, you can use Firebug or IE/Chrome development tools to find the styles being applied to the map’s container (‘mapp0-layout’).

If that doesn’t help please provide a URL.

Thanks for the tip – I’ll check it with Chrome tomorrow and see if there is some weird CSS at play here. I suspected it wasn’t ‘normal’ behaviour, so that’s helpful to know. I should be able to over-ride the CSS to prevent this (though I’m not able to switch to another theme as it’s a production website).

    Thanks again for your time.

    Cheers,
    Andy
