Hi Chris,
I love your plugin. I’ve got it installed on RealDealMattress.com and I’m running into issues using the [mashup] shortcode. I’m running 2.39.8 on a multisite install. You can see an example on the homepage of Realdealmattress, the shortcode isn’t being executed.Let me know if you have any ideas.
January 23, 2013 at 12:13 pm #11447Hi,
It looks like the scripts aren’t getting loaded. That can happen with some themes if the wp_footer() call isn’t present. Please see #1 in the FAQ and let me know if that doesn’t help:

January 25, 2013 at 3:29 am #11472Hi Chris,
Thanks for the link. I neglected to mention in my initial post that Mappress was working fine until version 2.39.8. I rolled back to version 2.39.6 on http://www.foresproppants.com/natural-gas-logistics/ and http://www.westernslopesvt.org/places/richmond-vt/after the current update broke my shortcodes there. On Real Deal Mattress, My theme has wp_head(); and wp_footer(); installed properly. I disabled all plugins except Mappress and enabled TwentyTwelve theme and it was still broken.
I most likely have purchased a basic license and might have this installed on more than 3 sites. Could this be causing the issue and how can I pay the $20 balance to upgrade to Developer license?
Let me know if you have any insight on what might be causing this. I could always manually load the script in the header but figured I’d let you take a look so you can repair the plugin if needed.
January 25, 2013 at 3:30 am #11473I am running 2.39.8 on Real Deal Mattress so you can see it breaking, store is out of business, just a portfolio item.
January 25, 2013 at 6:52 am #11475Hi,
I just went to realdealmattress.com and I see only a plain text shortcode. Usually that indicates the plugin isn’t installed/activated properly.
Can you send me a login?
Since you’re not using that site I’ll see if I can get it working, then we can tackle your other sites.
January 25, 2013 at 7:23 am #11476Here’s the issue Chris, I’m surprised I didn’t spot this before.
I paid for the PRO plugin and have it installed on my sites. When I get work the plugin needs updating and I update via the WordPress dashboard, it updates to the most recent version of the FREE plugin. Mashups aren’t included in the FREE version so it the shortcode doesn’t work. Is it possible to make the PRO version update through the dashboard?
Thanks for your help on this.
January 25, 2013 at 8:05 am #11479Hi,
I’m glad you got it figured out.
WordPress doesn’t offer a way for 3rd party plugins to install from the dash, but it is possible and it’s on my development list already.
All I can do for now is warn folks in the install instructions:
