I bought the pro version and tested the 2.38.10 beta on my own company Page, really very good, so far everything works, see http://westendweb.de/impressionen/maps/
On a project side at first i installed 2.38 stable, worked. Then i uninstalled 2:38 stable and installed 2.38.10 beta, now the cards are unfortunately not displayed, it appears only a rotating circle, see here http://livingplus.de/portfolio/testartikel/
I think on the second site the problem is that jQuery 1.5 is being loaded. That version is too old – the current one with WordPress is 1.8.x. Here’s the line:
Can you try disabling your other plugins / theme to find where that line is being loaded? Or you can change it to “…/jquery/1.8.3…” for the current version.
I also updated MapPress so it will work with some older jQuery versions. You can give 2.39.2 a try if you don’t want to switch or change your template.
many thanks, but this template makes me mad anyway. I’m going to use in any case another.
But good to know that there is a new beta version. When is because of “beta” will be a “stable”?
Hi, 2.39.2 – actually 2.39.3 as of today – is the latest stable version of MapPress.
The beta versions are less tested and contain new functionality. The stable versions just receive bug fixes and minor updates – like WordPress 3.4.1, 3.4.2, etc.
