      Sorry if this is obvious (Im not finding it), I used the MapPress widget in the sidebar on a contact page. I chose that the POIs show but they’re generic POIs, I’m not sure how to change to show the addresses I want in the widget. I’ve been able to do it on a page when adding a map, but not in the widget form. Thanks!

        Hi,

        I’m sorry, but I didn’t understand the question. I see a map on that page in the sidebar. Are you asking how to show the same map using the MapPress widget?

          Sorry I didn’t explain well. A map did show up when I add the mapPress widget to the sidebar, but not one of my choosing and the POIs that showed up weren’t chosen/set by me. They seem to be defaults. Where do I set my own address(es) for the widget? I know how to do it when I insert mapPress into a page or post, but it’s not the same for the widget.
          Thanks!

            Hi,

            Thanks, I understand now. The widget actually shows a mashup rather than a map. A mashup is a map that shows all the locations from the maps in one or more posts.

            There’s a radio button on the widget to select a default query or you can enter a custom query. You are probably seeing the POIs from the current posts (which is the default selection).

            To show just the map(s) from a specific post, enter the post ID or page ID in the query field like this (where 1234 is the post you want to show):
            p=1234
            or
            page_id=1234

            There’s more information on queries and mashups in the documentation:
