ParticipantAt https://heritagecramahe.ca/map-of-properties/ I have the short code [mashup query="post_type=project" query="orderby=date&order=desc"sort="true"] which has worked fine in the past.
What’s changed?

ParticipantI see one problem, but fixing it didn’t help any. I noticed that the & in the short code became & but changing it back to & did not help. I’m using Divi and tried putting it in a code module to protect it, but that doesn’t work either.

KeymasterHi John,
The problem is the plugin has reverted to the free version (that sometimes happens if it’s deactivated before it’s updated).
You can just reinstall the Pro version from your account and everything should work again:

ParticipantThat worked. Thanks.

ParticipantSame problem today. The latest version 2.72.5 broke the mashup map. Deleting and reinstalling fixed it.
A shame that I’m going to have to turn off auto updates on this plugin.

ParticipantI’ve just deleted and reinstalled the pro plugin on my site at https://heritagecramahe.ca/map-of-properties/
That’s got it working again, but now only the thumbnail shows, no description in the marker any more.

KeymasterHi,
The plugin will revert to the free version if it’s deactivated before updating. But it should work fine if you’ve entered your license key in the MapPress settings screen and use the normal WordPress auto-update.
I’m not sure what you meant about the description not showing. I see the thumbnail and text at this URL:

ParticipantI have no reason to deactivate the plugin prior to updating it and have never done so. The only reason I deactivated the plugin is to reinstall the Pro version as per your instructions above.
The license is registered on both sites with this problem in the MapPress settings. The other site is https://pecstudiotour.com/map-of-studios/
I have been using the normal auto-update settings, but have now disabled auto-updates on this plugin, because I don’t trust this not to happen again.
I’d be happy to give you access if you want to take a closer look.
The description shows on Chrome but not on Firefox. Here is a screenshot using Firefox 95.0

KeymasterHi,
If you’d like to send a login, I’ll have a look at the updates.
The thumbnail display in the popup is based on a quirk, which works in Chrome but is apparently unsupported in Firefox. I’ve updated the CSS and it should be fixed in the next release (which I can install for you to try). It doesn’t look as good on smaller screens, but it’s consistent between both browsers.

ParticipantLogin sent. Yes, lease try the new version.
Thanks so much for your quick response and attention to this matter.

KeymasterHi,
I’ve installed version 2.73, which should fix the Firefox problem. There are also many other unrelated changes – see the readme.txt in the plugin directory for details.
I tested forcing auto-updates, but unfortunately it seemed to work normally. Please leave it on manual update for a while, and let’s see if the same thing happens when you manually update from the ‘plugins’ screen. If it does, we can narrow down the exact steps to reproduce it – and then fix it.
Please let me know how 2.73 works for you, and if everything looks good I’ll publish it so it can be installed on your other site(s).

ParticipantHi Chris.
2.73 is working fine now with Firefox.
I’m not seeing any other issues.
Thank You for the attention you have given this item.
I’ll let you know about manual updates once I perform them.
