GeoCoding Settings – Additional Option For Title Mapping

Hi Chris,

I’m bulk importing lots of data, and using the Premium version of your plugin which I’ve just purchased.

In the GeoCoding data mapping section, would it be easy to add an option to map the Title field to the Post Name? (i.e. so the POI box for basic maps could be made to look the same as it does when doing a MashUp)

I know I can do this using an extra custom field to duplicate the Post Name, but having the option as a drop down would help reduce unnecessary data duplication.

If you could suggest an easier workaround or let me have a code snippet (if it’s an easy tweak?) I’m happy to go and have a play myself.

Hi Clive,

You can modify the map_poi.php template to always display the post title instead of the POI title. From your other question, it sounds like you’ve already started playing around with the template but if you need help let me know. If you can, send an email with your current template so I can take a look (chrisvrichardson at mappresspro.com).
