Hello, the GDPR stipulates that no external files are loaded until the visitor has consented. However, the leaflet files in mappress are loaded beforehand. Unfortunately, the urls are permanently stored in the script. With the next update, can we give the opportunity to determine the paths for these files ourselves and thus store the files locally?
Thank you very much.
Kind regards
Ralf
I removed some of the libraries because the plugin was getting too large.
I’ve been working on integrating MapPress with the ‘Coplianz’ plugin for GDPR. That plugin should block Leaflet until users accept cookies. Do you think that might work for you?
If not, I can add a setting if you’d like to serve the files locally. You’ll need to download them and keep them up to date.
Hi, thanks for the reply. We work with Borlabs cookie – it works quite well for us and we are familiar with it by now. Therefore I would prefer to work with a manual setting for local leaflet files.
Thanks and Greetings
Ralf
