    Greatjob on mappress – I have the pro version.

    I am wondering if you know how I could add a button near a map to ‘open map in full screen’ – when clicked the map would either become full screen or simply larger perhaps in a lightbox style overlay?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi, there’s nothing like that build in for the current version but it’s a popular request for a ‘larger map’ link, so it’s on my development list.

    If you want to do it yourself: one way is to just link to a separate page with a full-size map.   Or, with a little javascript, you can resize the map’s containing <div>.

    For example, if the map’s name is ‘mapp0’ the div has the same name so you could just set the width and height for div mapp0.   After you resize the div, call mapp0.resize() to notify the map that the container size has changed.  The FAQ has details about setting a map name.

    The javascript would be something like this:

    var mydiv = getElementById('mapp0');
    mydiv.style.width = "100%";
    mydiv.style.height = "100%";
    mapp0.resize();

    Thanks for the reply. It would be great if you could have a ‘show link to full screen map’ option – when enabled a link is shown near maps which when clicks open the map in full screen.
