      Hello Chris, is it possible to open the map directly in satellite mode and not in map mode? thank you!

        Yes, of course, here’s three ways:
        1. You can make satellite the default on the MapPress settings screen
        2. When editing a map, switch to satellite view before saving it; it will remember the view.
        3. Use the shortcode:
        [mappress maptypeid="satellite"]
