I encountered an error while using Jetpack and Mappress at the same time. Unfortunately only at one site. At another site this configuration is working without any errors.
Has somebody dealed with this issues? Any good hint, that you could help me. I’m needing Mappress but I’m needing some features of Jetpack, as well. Bad situation 🙁
What’s the error? Did you try deactivating everything but Jetpack and MapPress?
I installed the latest Jetpack on a test system and even with MapPress (and everything else) deactivated, I can’t even see the settings screen. I get a JavaScript error. It seems to be a bug in Jetpack. Is that what you’re seeing?
That’s the problem: There is not any kind of error or warning visible in the log 🙁
That is the affected website: https://freisenbrucher.de with Mappress and Jetpack activated. Map should be visible by “<span class=”mh-widget-title-inner”>Freisenbrucher Orte</span>”. Can you please take a look?
I think I found the problem: current versions of the Jetpack “infinite scroll” module interfere with loading inline scripts. This prevents the maps from displaying.
I’ve added a workaround to MapPress which should fix the problem.
Could you please send a login via the contact form, so I can install the update on your system and test that it’s working? If you have a test or staging system, we can test it there instead.
