OK, last post for today, honest!

Further to my last question, I’m hoping this is a possibility. When the user is creating a map to insert on a post, is it possible to insert HTML above the map? IE, when the user clicks ‘Insert into post’, it inserts the shortcode [mappress mapid="x"]

What I want is that, upon selecting ‘Insert into post’, the returned content is:

      Some heading
      [mappress mapid="x"]

      Is that possible? Any pointers?

      Thanks,
      Andy

        Hi Andy,

Sorry, that’s not something the plugin supports.  You can type text above the shortcode, but I assume you want it inserted automatically.

There are some plugins for defining shortcodes in the WordPress text editor that might allow you to automate inserting the text and shortcode, but then you’d still need to type in the mapid.
