WordPress Map Widget

Show your location in the sidebar, footer or any widget area. A small map with your address and a directions link is one of the most useful things a contact sidebar can have.

Open daily 6am–7pm.

A sidebar-sized map with one location.

How it works

  • Map block in widget areas. In themes with block-based widgets, add the MapPress Map block to a sidebar or footer just as you would in a post.
  • Map widget. Pro includes a classic Map widget for showing any map in a widget area.
  • Mashup widget. Pro’s Mashup widget shows locations from many posts, such as all your branches, in the sidebar.
  • Sized to fit. Set the map width and height in pixels or percent.
  • Directions included. Popups can include a directions link.

Add it to your site

  1. Go to Appearance › Widgets (or the Site Editor) and open the sidebar or footer.
  2. Add the MapPress Map block, or the MapPress Map or Mashup widget with Pro, and choose your map.

FAQ

How do I add a map to my WordPress sidebar?
Add the MapPress Map block to the sidebar in Appearance › Widgets, then choose or create a map.

Can I show several locations in a sidebar map?
Yes. Add as many pins as you like to one map, or use the Pro Mashup widget to show locations from many posts.

Does the widget map need a Google API key?
No. Maps use free OpenStreetMap by default.

Free vs Pro: the Map block works in block widget areas for free. The classic Map and Mashup widgets are part of Pro.
