There is a template section in MapPress Pro, it should be on the plugin settings page just after the ‘filters’ section.
Since you are using a mashup, you can just use the settings in the ‘Mashups’ section to control how the POIs open (in a popup, a new tab, or the same tab), without having to edit any templates.
