WordPress Map Popups and Templates

Popups are where visitors read about each place. MapPress popups can show text, photos and links for free, and Pro’s template editor lets you design the popup and the location list yourself, including your own custom fields.

Try it: click a location to see its photo, address and hours.

How it works

  • Rich popups. Titles, formatted text, photos and links in every popup. Free.
  • Template editor. Change the layout of popups and the location list without editing theme files by hand.
  • Custom fields. Show your own fields, such as hours, phone or price, in the popup or list.
  • Show only what’s there. Template sections can appear only when a field has a value.
  • Thumbnails. Show the post’s featured image in popups and the list, on the left, right or top.
  • Directions link. Show a directions link in the popup, the list, or both.

Add it to your site

  1. In MapPress › Settings › Templates, open the popup or list template.
  2. Insert fields from the token list, such as title, address, URL or your own custom field, and save.
