      How is the plugin calculating distance?
      Is it according to the air distance from the user’s location?
      I have a list of POIs and they all appear to show a very different distance than the actual distance I get when I click Get directions.

      Example:
      I see one POI shows up as 3.7 km from my location, but when I open Get directions, it shows 7.6 km from my location by car.
      If I do a km to miles conversion it shows up as 4.72 miles.

      Another POI shows up as 98.8 km from my location, but when I open Get directions, it shows as 224 km from my location by car.
      Which by the way is 139 miles.

      That is a big discrepancy between the distance shown and the actual distance, which makes me not want to show that distance.
      I am using the Pro version of MapPress.

        Hi,

        Distance is calculated straight-line. It’s intended only for giving a rough idea of distance from center point, like some store locators, not for accurately displaying driving/biking/walking distance.

        If that doesn’t suit your needs, you may disable it.
