I’m using MapPress to render two maps, one for the sidebar/widget and one on the “contact page”. Please see: http://www.company12.com/new/contact/
The pointer needs to link to http://www.company12.com/new/contact/ , hence the current set-up.
Currently both icons display in the sidebar/widget. Maybe this is because both POI’s have the same address. Any known fix / workaround, or have I overlooked a setting?
Thanks in advance for your solution,
Best,
Max

http://www.company12.com/new/October 7, 2013 at 6:45 am #13513Hi,
The widget is actually a mashup, not a single map. You can set it to show the markers from the current page or all marker by default.
To show a specific map, you can use the “custom query” field. Enter “p=” and then the post ID where the map exists, for example for post 1234:
p=1234That query will show any markers attached to post 1234.
October 8, 2013 at 1:43 am #13518Hey Chris,
Thanks for your response. I have added the query p=40, but it still has the same problem:
1. On the contact page it displays two markers (http://www.company12.com/new/contact/)
2. On other pages it only displays the large marker
(http://www.company12.com/new/)
I think an issue might be that both original maps are on page 40. I only do this because I want users that click on the button to go to the contact page.If there is no direct solution for my problem, an alternative solution might be to disable the link of the marker. Is there any query that allows to disable the popup and / or link when you click the marker?
Best,
Max
October 8, 2013 at 4:56 am #13519There is no ‘disable a marker’ options, but the query should work.
I think the problem may be that I gave you the query for a single post, but I think you are actually using pages, which require a different query:
page_id=40If that doesn’t help – please feel free to use the contact form to send a login I’ll be happy to troubleshoot if for you.
