Filter locations on Map by kategories

Hello

I’m new to the plugin and I would like to filter my map locations by kategorie. How can I do it ? Is there some manual for it ? If so please help 🙂

Hi,

I assume you’ve read the documentation.

Here’s the steps:

1. 1In the MapPress settings filter section, you can choose category, tags or any other taxonomy.
2. The filters only apply to mashups.  So, create 1 post per location and add a map to each post with its location.
3. Then create a post or page for the mashup.  If you’re using Gutenberg, there’s a mashup block.  In the classic editor, you can use a shortcode.  This one will display all maps:
   [mashup query="all"]

One more question. If I add shortcode: [mashup query="all"] it will only display the locations of the post that have mappress on them ?

Hi,

Yes, that mashup will only display posts that have a MapPress map linked to them (otherwise it would not know the post’s location).
